Script to Screen

The NZWG has historically held events that provide professional development for its members.  A list of NZWG events from 2000-2006 can be found on this page.

Today the principal responsibility for providing upskilling has been tendered to Script to Screen, an organisation founded by the NZWG and the New Zealand Film Commission to provide upskilling opportunities for scriptwriters and to develop the local screenwriting culture.

Script to Screen run a series of different initiatives including The Writers Room - a monthly series where a changing panel of New Zealand writers debate hot topics in screenwriting.
